At Original Timber Creations, all personalised items are custom-made to your exact instructions. Below is our simple, step-by-step order process so you know exactly what to expect.
- Choose Your Product
Select the item you’d like personalised — slate plaque, coaster set, chopping board, mirror, or any custom engraving.
2. Add Personalisation Details
Use the CHAT BUBBLE to get in touch or on whats app then we can discuss in detail your vision and turn it in to a forever art.
Well discuss things like...
Names, dates or text
Design preferences
Font choices (if applicable)
Any layout instructions (e.g., centred, left aligned)
For our portraits in a ideas world, we need nice clean crisp images, preferably the originals. However, we can (most of the time) work out magic and revive the image to create the portrait you deserve.
If you are ordering a set of 4 or 6 mix-and-match coasters, use the multi coaster options on the listing.
3. Upload Photos (If Required)
For portrait engravings, upload your photo directly on the chat bubble or send it via email:
originaltimberteam@gmail.com or whats app.
4. Receive a Design Preview (When Applicable)
For detailed custom work such as portraits, mirrors or intricate plaques, we send a digital preview for approval before engraving.
You can request changes at this stage.
5. Production Begins
Once you approve the design (or once instructions are clear for simple items), we start making your item.
Every piece is:
Designed
Laser-engraved
Cleaned, sealed and quality-checked
in our UK workshop.
Personalised items usually take 1–3 working days to complete.
6. Dispatch & Delivery
All items are shipped via:
Royal Mail Tracked 48 (standard)
Tracked 24 upgrade available
We'll send tracking as soon as it’s dispatched.
7. Returns on Personalised Items
Because personalised items are made specifically for you, they cannot be returned or refunded unless there is:
A mistake on our side
Damage during delivery
If that ever happens, we fix it immediately.
